Breaking away from conventional winder designs with square or rectangular cases the RONDO watchwinder sports an interesting and contemporary look.  The fourteen inch diameter cylindrical case houses five equally spaced winder modules mounted around the periphery with the center opening housing a digital atomic clock accurate to a millionth of a second.

Each RONDO winder module is individually powered with its own ON/OFF switch and is fitted with a four-pole programming DIP switch.  You can choose settings of 500, 650, 800, 950 or 1300 turns per day (TPD) with clockwise, counter-clockwise or automatic reversing rotation.  There is also a master ON/OFF switch located at the rear of the case.

The RONDO case is a unique amalgam of wood, metal and leather.  The basic cylinder is a molded plywood laminate consisting of several layers of thin hardwood material.  It is specially produced for ORBITA by one of America’s leading manufacturers of percussion drum shells and has a lifetime warranty against warp-age.  The entire drum is covered with textured leather panels which are bonded and hand stitched using contrasting silver thread.  The wooden front panel is faced with an attractive and durable brushed stainless steel faceplate.

Supplied with the RONDO winder is a decorative and practical stainless steel cradle which both supports and adorns the unit.  A plug-in AC/DC provides safe, low, 6 VDC voltage power and is suitable for 100 to 240 volts AC, 50 to 60 hertz input.
