Congratulations on your purchase.
Your ORBITA watchwinder should provide you with many, many years of trouble-free service. It comes to you complete with a two-year warranty for any defects in materials and/or workmanship. In order to provide you with proper support, and to keep you updated with information on performance enhancements, accessories and new product announcements, we ask that you take a minute to register your ORBITA watchwinder. EXTENDED WARRANTY PURCHASE
As there is always the possibility that any electro-mechanical device may fail due to unforeseen circumstances, ORBITA also offers you an optional extended warranty providing for an additional three (3) year coverage period to insure against such contingencies. If you would like to purchase this option, please fill out the paperwork included with your purchase and return to us directly or Click here to purchase an extended warranty.
Guarantee – ORBITA products are sold subject to a 30-day trial period with a money-back guarantee regardless of reason. However, this policy does not apply to items purchased as “Closeouts”. All “Closeout” items are final sale. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable. Should you choose to make a return for any reason, all return shipping and insurance charges are your responsibility.
When You Receive Your Package – Merchandise must be inspected immediately upon receipt for shipping damage. Please retain all shipping materials including boxes, packaging, and labels in the event you need to return any items. Take photos if possible. Do not accept any shipment with visual packaging damage.
Return Authorization – Please notify us in advance if you wish to make a return for any reason. You can call us toll free at 800-800-4436 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number at that time and provide shipping instructions and provide tips on exactly how to package the return. The RMA number should appear on the outside of your package. Most Important: If the return is for repair, when you call we will tell you exactly what to return. Generally, there is no need to ship the wooden case, mounting cups or adapters if it is only the winding unit that is the problem.
Unauthorized Returns – As a goodwill gesture to customers, we do accept unauthorized returns. But, by doing so, we end up incurring costs for phone call verification, emails and, of course, processing documentation. Therefore, we will bill a processing fee of $25.00 which is intended to cover these costs. This fee is additional to any bench charges and/or parts cost. This fee applies to all unauthorized returns, whether returns for warranty or non-warranty issues.
Bench Charges – A bench inspection/labor fee is charged for all non-warranty repairs. The fee varies depending on the product. We inspect incoming non-warranty returns for shipping damage but we do nothing else until this fee is accepted and paid. The fee is to cover unpacking, inspection, repair labor, testing and repackaging for shipment. There are no additional labor charges for the repair, but there may be additional charges for any parts required. The bench fee must be paid in advance. The cost for repair parts, if any, will be quoted promptly after our bench inspection and, if accepted by you, will be billed at that time.
Outbound Shipping Damage – Please call us immediately if your shipment arrives damaged. We will request UPS or Federal Express to inspect or pick up any damaged items. Once the pick-up is made and the problem resolved, we will then replace the damaged items. Damaged items must be returned in the original packaging.
Inbound Shipping Damage – All damaged returns are photographed upon arrival at our facility. Frequently we receive returns that are poorly packaged with resulting damage. We are not responsible for such damage. At the time a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number is issued, our staff will provide tips on how to package returns. Often there is no need to return watchwinder cases which are easily damaged as the watchwinding mechanisms within are easily removed and can be shipped independently.
Shipping Modes – Ship items to us via UPS or Federal Express so that they can be easily tracked and you will have access to our signature showing proof of delivery. If you wish to return a unit via US Mail, please note that WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MAILED UNITS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE A SIGNATURE. This is for your benefit. Packages sent by USPS should be sent insured mail with a green “return receipt requested” card attached. It is important that you retain the signed green card when it is returned to you as proof of receipt at ORBITA.
